This is a versatile pond aerator, essentially a type of injector that attaches securely to your pump. Primarily, the end with the two connectors serves as the top, while the other section functions as the bottom. It's essential to position the piece above water level so it can effectively suck in air - this largely depends on how robust your pump is. To set up this aerator, you should connect your pump to the top connector, allowing water to flow through while drawing in air at the same time. Additionally, this device prevents water from siphoning back through the pump when it's turned off. In general, the more powerful your pump, the greater amount of air that will be sucked in by the aerator. The aerator is specifically designed to attach securely to an approximate 20mm plastic pipe.
