Pomona 3601 Box Lid For 15A Breaker
thingiverse
I've been using aluminum Pomona brand project enclosure boxes for years now, and it's become a staple in my DIY arsenal. When I need to drill the faceplate for a specific project, the rest of the enclosure box remains usable even after the project is complete, but the lid often becomes scrap material. Rather than discarding the entire thing, I've found that making a new lid from PLA plastic is a convenient solution. I've included two files: one is a blank plate design and the other is custom-made for a 15A circuit breaker. To ensure a snug fit in the enclosure channel, some slight sanding might be required on the edges of the printed lid. My prints often have a slight elephant's foot to improve adhesion, so I had to shave off a little bit from the lid. The Fusion 360 files are included for you to modify and adapt to your own projects as needed. The Pomona box I'm using can be sourced through Digi-Key, found here: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/pomona-electronics/3601/501-2382-ND/736527 The 15A circuit breaker I'm using is available on Amazon and can be sourced here: https://amzn.to/2PE8oot As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
