The Pomodoro Technique is a productivity boosting method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. This technique utilizes a timer to segment work into focused intervals traditionally lasting 25 minutes, followed by brief breaks. These intervals are called "pomodori", the plural form of the Italian word pomodoro for tomato. The method relies on the concept that regular breaks can enhance mental sharpness. As a creator, I'm eager to boost my working productivity. In pursuit of this goal, I've experimented with various time management apps on my iPhone. However, after using them for a while, I found that the phone was actually diverting my attention away from work. Excessive screen time wasted on Facebook or Twitter notifications had become a significant issue, as I often didn't even notice it happening. Ultimately, I decided to pick up my Seeeduino and build a simple gadget designed to keep me focused on tasks. Try out the complete instructions here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Desk-promo/
