Polyurethane Pulley

Polyurethane Pulley

This pulley is designed to work seamlessly on a 1/2 hex shaft and efficiently run a 1/4 diameter polyurethane timing belt. I crafted this pulley specifically for FRC 2017 SteamWorks, ensuring it can pick up 5" wiffle balls with precision on our robot. The design ensures the 1/4 belt remains in constant contact with the ball even as the ball glides over the pulley. A hex hole measuring .515 inches provides a snug fit for a hex shaft without requiring excessive force to position it accurately. Printer settings include: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 6 Rafts: No preference Supports: Irrelevant Infill: Unnecessary Notes: To achieve a smooth curve on the groove for the belt, I set my layer thickness to .09mm, but this may have been an overcautious decision.
