Polysher Wedge

Polysher Wedge

This is a wedge I created to fit seamlessly with the Polysher turntable to facilitate coating of vertical surfaces. I discovered that vertical surfaces fail to achieve the same dissolving effect as horizontal ones. My goal was to rotate the model 180 degrees on this wedge halfway through the cycle. There are two versions available: 1.) Fixed angle 2.) Variable angle (base, table) The idea behind the variable angle is to enable rotation of the model without leaving fingerprints on it. I also incorporated a drain for the IPA to exit smoothly. Enjoy! -------------------------------------- Update 6/3/17: You'll want to print the table using NinjaFlex or PolyFlex. I found that with PLA, even at a 10-degree angle, the print slid off the table. I ended up applying a small dab of CA to a few of the standoffs and it held until the PVA softened enough to stick it in place on its own. Overall, this approach proved effective in getting mist to adhere to vertical surfaces. The cycle was split in half (20/20), and the model rotated to 180 degrees to coat the other side. This is a must-have for tall, vertical models!
