Polyshape (Envision the Future Challenge Entry)
pinshape
This design is still a work in progress, mainly the spring needs reworking so that it doesn't plastically deform when fully stressed. Please read the documentation for information about how this was created. Before printing, make sure you flip over the part in your slicer, as I accidentally drew it the other way and don't think I should change the files until the contest is over. This is a set of polygon shapes that can be linked together to form 3 dimensional geometric shapes. This tactile model allows blind and visually impaired students to better grasp concepts in geometry. This design was made for the Envision the Future Challenge hosted by Matterhackers, Lulzbot, and e-NABLE. Thank you, Justin Print Settings: PLA 0.2 Layer Height 0.4 Nozzle Width and Extrusion Width 5 Top Layers 3 Bottom Layers 2 Perimeter Shells
