<p>PolyPuzzle</p> <p>Guide your way through the fully 3D printed multidimensional maze! I wanted to create something that was eye-catching, entertaining, intricate, and easy to print. All the parts snap in together and with some hot glue (to stabilize everything) you're ready to go! This is great for killing some time, friendly competitions, improving motor skills for certain people and more!</p> <p>Objective</p> <p>The objective is simple, get the ball from the starting point to the finish. In my color scheme, the start is blue and the end is purple.</p> <p>Assembly</p> <p>The process of designing this took many iterations and tedious work, but in the end, it paid off for the snap-on pieces and easy assembly. I have a video I made where you can follow the building of the PolyPuzzle. The standard size given supports a ball ~8mm and smaller. You can scale up the maze to your desire! (My print bed isn't very big so this is the best I could do) As we all know, 3D printing isn't perfect, so you may need to scale parts, sand down areas or use an X-Acto knife until the tolerances fit.</p> <p>All you need:</p> <p>Printed parts</p> <p>Straight connector x 4</p> <p>Some form of adhesive (I used hot glue)</p> <p>VIDEO: PolyPuzzle Assembly (<a href="https://streamable.com/tdkwj">https://streamable.com/tdkwj</a>)</p> <p><del>~</del><del>~</del><del>~</del><del>~</del><del>~</del><del>~</del><del>~</del>~~</p> <p>Please let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns!</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Printing (very easy)</p> <p>This requires absolutely NO SUPPORTS</p> <p>Any resolution (0.4mm was used for mine)</p> <p>25% infill and up</p> <p>Parts can easily be laid out on the print bed together</p> <p>Printing a ball is always a challenge, you can cut it in half and glue it together, or add supports. I sanded my ball on the bottom part to make it more spherical when I printed it in one piece.</p>
