Polypanels // DISCO Triangle
myminifactory
These panels are designed specifically to hold triangular mirrors with a 1" edge length. Originally, I had envisioned them with snaps, but this approach presented risks of chipping the edges of the mirrors, and ultimately, I ended up securing them in place using glue for added safety. There are small pockets at each corner of the triangle that are filled with a dab of E6000 glue. These panels can be adapted to hold other 1" triangles, such as tile, veneer, or various prints. Feel free to get creative and experiment with different designs! Version A is designed for placing mirrors facing up relative to print orientation, while Version B is intended for facing down. Polypanels are a system of interchangeable parts that can be snapped together to build anything you desire. It's an open-ended construction toy that leverages the capabilities of 3D printing and a community-driven approach to create limitless possibilities.
