Polypanel Christmas Star
prusaprinters

This is the result of my fastination about polypanels (developed by Devin Montes - Make Anything) and pentagon geometry. the base is a pentagonal dodecahedron but the outer surfaces narrow to a point. One tip of the star consists of five surfaces that are stuck together. You will need 11 tips (means 55 surfaces to print) and one flat pentagon surface with a hole to complete the star. In the hole fits a E-14 socket with lightbulb
– IMPORTANT: USE A LED LIGHTBULB WITH LOW HEAT DEVELOPEMENT (2.8W) –

Print instructions

I printed in PLA with 0.2mm layer height, 100% infill and textured print sheet.
