Polymer80 PF940v2 HSLD Magwell

Noncommercial use only, rotate this design on your build plate with the large opening facing downwards. For an RMR cut cover plate or a larger magwell, check out my other designs. New and improved! Higher speeds, lower drag, less visual impact, and a lower profile. Created in response to the aesthetics of my previous design (which I believe is more functional for competitive shooting), here's a magwell with a more tactical look. For those operating in hostile environments. Work in progress version of a Polymer80 flared magwell tested on a PF940v2 only. If you try it on another model, please let me know if it works. Tested with Magpul and ETS 17rd magazines to ensure smooth drop-free function. I have not tested with stock Glock magazines. As long as the baseplate is smaller than the Magpul mags, they should work. Finger grooves added so you can grab the baseplate to clear a malfunction. The front needs improvement, so it's still WIP. Print in a tough filament with maximum infill for durability. I use brim to minimize warping. PLA may crack easily if you're a high-stress operator. I've used PETG and polycarbonate successfully so far. The frame is likely nylon with glass fiber reinforcement. The model's weakest part is the grip plug. If you apply too much torque, it can delaminate, but this hasn't happened with current versions of the model. If you break it while installed in a stronger material like ABS/PETG, I'll be impressed. It's a click fit that won't move easily once on. Install by placing the front of the frame first, then levering the back on. Once secure, check the magwell to ensure it's flush against the frame all around. The easiest removal method is flipping the frame upside down and backwards, then levering the back of the magwell off with your thumbs.
