UPDATE: I've been asked to put this model on hold until a discussion about posting it takes place. Please share your thoughts on censoring uploaded projects like this one. Version 2 is out and performs better in tests than the previous version. I printed this one (see image version 2) in Purple PLA, but I think I'll go back to ABS since I prefer its matte finish. Revised support material greatly improves post-processing time and overall appearance. This model accurately replicates a SIG P250 Polymer frame, unlike other polymer handguns like Glocks, which have the serialized portion in the plastic frame, making this one completely legal to print (in the USA). I will remove the SIG Sauer logo and lettering from the grip. The STL file now includes supports, and I'll update it with support tweaks after receiving feedback and testing my own prints. My first print failed because I disabled the raft, but even without it, the model still printed okay. Next time, I'll post a photo of the print with the raft, and I might try a finer resolution and slower print speeds. Stay tuned!
