Polymer Electrode Base

Polymer Electrode Base

thingiverse

A 3D printed dry electrode template for acquiring biosignals like EEG, EMG, or ECG is derived from a study (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0924424711007151). The researchers used Fullcure 720 instead of ABS for the electrode and noted some differences, such as prong size and distribution. It's essential to add other layers like titanium, silver, or gold via sputtering and evaporation post-printing. For hairier subjects, the prongs may need extension by 1-3 mm. This reusable electrode performs comparably to disposable Ag/AgCl ones and can detect various biosignals.
