This thing includes a revised parametric script designed to generate polygonal facets for use in polyhedra, showcasing several possible facets rendered to perfection. With the triangular, square, and pentagonal facets presented here, users can build a wide range of shapes with ease. The Thing extends this set by adding more types of facets, including spoke-like and polygonal facets suitable for all shapes, providing endless possibilities for creation. For some time now, I've been eager to create a very generic snap-together set of forms for MakerBot. It would be amazing to have an algorithm that generates a queue of forms, allowing users to slowly grow a very large procedurally generated object with precision and control.
