Polygonia lamp
thingiverse
I met the creator of polygonia.design a few weeks ago, so I made this small lamp as a gift for my mom. If you want to make your own pattern to replace mine in the svg, David from Polygonia gave me this link to create accounts that allow for more downloads: https://polygonia.design/?promo=EDU-SMR19. My settings to generate mine are: * Tiling .. set tile size = 30 * Frame: * With 71 * Height 146 * Render: inside edge only Cutting: I used 3.6mm (1/8 inch) plywood. * Cut out red * Score blue * Ignore the letters Assembly instructions: Get the round piece (nr2) into the scored circle on piece nr3. Piece nr1 goes in the bottom, piece nr 2 in the top. And nr3 (with glued on piece) serves as lid. Cut 4 pieces of paper about 15cm*9cm and glue those to the back of the side pieces. Then everything should more or less point itself out. I filled mine with an old cellphone battery and a matrix of 8 warm white LEDs, but feel free to do yours however you want.
