Special thanks to David_L_G for making a reality something I'd been dreaming up using OpenSCAD.\r\n\r\nWant more interesting 3D printed objects with pillars or columns? Get creative with OpenSCAD code!\r\n\r\nI was inspired by the low-poly vases trending on social media, and thought I'd like to create a general code for constructing such objects. \r\n\r\nMy thingiverse searching skills proved weaker than expected, so I didn't find several other contributions that already generalized the vase OpenSCAD code.\r\n\r\nI recently printed one version of the columns shown in the picture. As you can see, with my print settings it doesn't hold water. This file is the "...5SidesTwist.stl" printed in "vase mode".
