Polygon Vase
thingiverse
Hello Thingiverse,\r\nThis is my brand new abstract design of vase.\r\n\r\nIf you download this model, please make it and share your results with me. Your feedback will greatly help me move forward with my progress.*\r\n\r\nNow it's time to show you three ways to print this stunning model.\r\n\r\nFirst, you can print a water-tight vase using the Polygon Vase - solid.stl file.\r\nMy top recommended print settings give you a watertight vase in 10 hours with minimal material usage. (No spiral mode). I've printed three vases with these settings and all of them are watertight and surprisingly strong.\r\nGet these values into the slic3r:\r\n\r\nPerimeters - 3 (with a 0.4 mm nozzle) // this parameter ensures wall thickness and watertightness. \r\nInfill - 0% // this parameter gives you a hollow vase without any internal ribs.\r\nTop Layers - 0 layers //this parameter results in an open top.\r\n\r\nSecond, you can print a spiral vase using the Polygon Vase - solid.stl file.\r\nThis method is incredibly quick. I was able to print one under 4 hours with a 0.15 layer height.\r\n\r\nThird, you can use the edited model (Polygon Vase - hollow.stl) for those who need a hollow model due to their slicer software limitations.\r\n\r\nThanks in advance and please leave a comment. I'll respond within a few hours :)\r\n
