Polygon lamp with diamond

Polygon lamp with diamond

thingiverse

I crafted this decorative lamp from a beautifully printed ball. It turned out remarkably well, with an intricate pattern that's not just a simple card stack diamond - it's actually a 6-sided polygon. Can you spot it? The design was created and rendered using Fusion 360, while the slicing process was handled by Simplify3D. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10% Notes: The walls are not steep, so no supports were necessary for this print. I used Octofiber PETG, a slightly translucent material that adds to the lamp's unique character. The model consists of two parts: the ball and the top diamond. The diamond fits snugly into the ball with a bit of force. Post-Printing Assembly: Drop the diamond inside the ball Shake the ball gently until the tip of the diamond emerges from the hole Use a long object to guide the diamond through the hole (I used a ruler) Install the lamp and enjoy its warm, cozy glow!
