Polycarbonate Tiko Build Plate

Polycarbonate Tiko Build Plate

I like having multiple build plates, so I've been experimenting with different designs. The Tiko build plate works well, but it's limited to printing on a single sheet of material. To get around this, I created custom build rings that help keep the Tiko stable when placed on a glass or polycarbonate sheet. These rings also act as a template for cutting the sheet. To make them, simply glue one ring onto a sheet of polycarbonate, and then trim the edges with a 3D printed router table. I used leftover 1/8" polycarbonate sheets from my RigidBot project, but thinner sheets would be cheaper and work just as well. The ideal size for these sheets is around 10 inches square or larger. I've had great results using these custom build rings with my printer.
