Poly-V belt stretcher

Poly-V belt stretcher

Human: For those Poly-V belts on cars that don't come with tensioning pulleys. It's a thousand times easier to do it this way than trying to figure it out with a screwdriver. Scale down the X-axis until it matches the radius of your pulley, insert the stretcher under the belt (on top of the pulley) and carefully turn the engine to slip the belt on smoothly. The size of this design corresponds exactly to a 5-groove poly-V belt - twice as large as the 17mm one. And kudos to no one in particular who had the bright idea of designing a belt without a tensioner! Instructions To build mine, I used ABS with no infill; you're going to need some serious force for this job.
