A Little Penguin I Made In Blender Was Just A Few Minutes Old, But It Had Already Gone Through A Major Transformation. I Had Taken Care To Set The Print Settings Right From The Beginning. Here Are The Details: No Rafts Were Used At All - None At All. Supports, On The Other Hand, Were Needed - Yes Indeed, I Made Sure Of That. And Why Not? Resolution Is Crucial When It Comes To A Detailed Model Like This Little Penguin. So I Went With 0.2 For This Print Job. Also Worth Mentioning Are Some Key Notes. The Print Speed Was Kept At A Steady 60mm/s Throughout The Process. But What Really Matters Here Is How The Design Of This Penguin Took Shape - And Shape It Did! Starting Out As A Cube, The Model Was Given Life In Blender Over The Course Of Just About 45 Minutes. Now I Know What You're Thinking: Low Poly, That's All We Can Get With Such Short Notice? Think Again! A Little Smoothing, Some Subdivision Later...and Voila! Our Little Penguin Emerged. As It Happens, This Model Is Not Without Its Special Touches. Here Are A Few Of The Photographs That Prove Just How Cute This Thing Really Is, All Thanks To Rosa Mos' Excellent Work.
