Pololu Extruder Stripboard

Pololu Extruder Stripboard

thingiverse

This low-cost Pololu stripboard enables you to connect a 1/16 microstepping stepper motor for under $20, providing a more efficient, quieter, and smoother operation than the H-bridge hack on GEN 3 extruder controller for stepper-based extruders. Even with limited soldering skills, anyone can build one. Instructions and a bill of materials (BOM) are available at reprap.org/wiki/Pololu_Extruder_Stripboard, while instructions for MakerBot pre-V2 firmware are found on wiki.makerbot.com/stepper-driven-extruder. Although tested on RepRap, it should work with MakerBot as well.
