To drive my Mendel's extruder, I opted for a Pololu and carrier setup. Due to limited mounting options, I crafted a small bracket that fits over the extruder board. This design ensures ample airflow, access to TTL header, reset switch, and turning screws on other terminals. To execute this modification, simply print and trim the bracket as needed. Secure the Pololu carrier board with 3mm screws and nylon stand-offs, while attaching the bracket to the extruder board using longer, 40mm screws for a sturdy mounting surface.
