Polo Mallet Head
thingiverse
Its shape and sizes closely resemble common polo mallets. Many of us lack experience with well-trained polo horses and expansive flat fields suitable for playing polo. However, it can also be used for alternative polo styles such as motorbike polo, bicycle polo or on foot polo. You'll need five 20mm m3 wood screws and a broomstick with a 25 mm diameter. You can also adjust the design to accommodate broomsticks of different diameters. Polo is a highly skilled team sport played on horseback. It's one of the world's oldest known team sports, with its concept dating back to the 6th century BC and evolving through the centuries. The origins of polo can be traced back to equestrian games played by nomadic Iranian and Turkic peoples. Initially, it was a training game for cavalry units, typically the Persian king's guard or other elite troops. Today, polo is enjoyed worldwide, with over 100 member countries in the Federation of International Polo. It's often referred to as "the sport of kings." The game has become a spectator sport, attracting equestrians and society members who support it through sponsorship. The objective of polo is to score goals by hitting a small hard ball through the opposing team's goal using a long-handled wooden mallet. Each team consists of four mounted riders, and a standard game lasts one to two hours, divided into periods called chukkas (or "chukkers"). Arena polo has similar rules and is played with three players per team on a smaller enclosed field made of compacted sand or fine aggregate, often indoors. The game requires more maneuvering due to the limited space, and an air-inflated ball is used, slightly larger than the hard field polo ball. Standard mallets are used, though slightly larger head arena mallets are an option.
