Polnocny-C Yuri Olefirenko

Yuri Olefirenko is a landing ship built for the Ukrainian Navy under the Soviet Union's commissioning program. Based at the Southern Naval Base in Donuzlav from 1971 until Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, she was relocated to Ochakiv afterwards. In 2016, her name was changed to U-401 Yuri Olefirenko in honor of a Ukrainian marine who lost his life during the War in Donbass. I deliberately chose this ship over other Ukrainian naval vessels because I wanted to design something unique. As it turned out, it presented numerous challenges along the way. Strangely enough, it's one of the few designs that I almost gave up on multiple times, but I persisted anyway.
