I design custom rear tires out of filaflex material for my car restoration projects. These tires have a good grip, but they don't retract and I haven't adjusted the filaflex settings yet. The models in question are two vintage cars: a black Polistil McLaren M8F CANAM and a red Polistil Alfa Romeo 33 CANAM.
