To create a bird-friendly haven, I've installed a birdhouse at the top of a bamboo post, halfway down which this feeder is mounted. This setup should attract birds to the house above, creating a delightful spectacle. Materials Needed: * Any plastic that can be printed with will work great; if you have particularly heavy birds, consider using a stronger material like PLA. * 1 x 6mm bolt/nut: choose a length that's about your post diameter plus 6-8mm (or 1/4 inch in US Imperial). Bird Seed Installation: Measure the size of your post to determine which option is best for you: 30mm, 35mm, or 40mm. If none of these sizes fit, simply leave a comment and I'll do my best to accommodate your needs. * Screw Size: This feeder is designed to work with a 6mm bolt and nut; add about 6mm to the diameter of your post to get the ideal bolt length. * Drainage: To keep the seeds dry, consider drilling a hole or two at the bottom of the dish to allow water to drain out.
