Pole holder

Pole holder

thingiverse

This was designed to be mounted in a boat to securely hold poles for a canopy or fishing rod holder. The inside diameter is 1 9/16" to easily fit a 1 1/2" post, though it can be scaled up to any dimensions needed. I created this in two parts that screw together because my printer's printing size limitations were smaller than the desired size of the holder. There is a bottom section that will stop the pole and hold it at that height, featuring a drain hole printed right into it. A fitting could be attached to the drain hole to direct water through a hose to wherever you'd like it to go. The bottom can simply be unscrewed if you want a pole to extend further. The STL file for the top also includes supports for printing the overhang. My printer printed it perfectly with only the support in the file, so nothing further should need to be done other than print it out.
