This adds polarization cabability to the Microstar IV (410) microscope in as simple a way as I could imagine. The polarizer at the field lens can be rotated as well as the lambda plate. This was designed to fit the 1201 condenser, but should be compatible with a number of other condensers with similar filter mounts (common on American Optical condensers). The clip retains the lambda plate which inserts into the condenser from below, remove the clip and withdraw the holder, remove the polarizer from the field lens and all that remains is the single polarizer under the head. This is dessigned to accept 2 32mm polarizers, one for the field lens, the other below the head. The lambda plate is a 1/4 wave 30mm.
