Polaris Slingshot radio mount and visor
thingiverse
We have a 2019 S, so it came with no radio. I really didn't like any of the mounting options for a double din radio, so I decided to make my own. I originally created a flat front mount that worked just fine, but I decided I wanted to angle the radio to be more perpendicular. The angled version also includes a magnetic sun visor. Magnet cutouts can be added to the flat version without much trouble, links below to both if you would like to edit. The sun visor doesn't work as well as I would have liked, but it does help at some angles of the sun. I coated the mount and the visor with a rubberized coating which is why the finish looks odd in the photos. To connect the mount to the slingshot, the bottom holes will line up with the little tabs on the console. I drilled holes in the console tabs and then used j-type speed nuts and a bolt to attach the bottom. For the top holes I just used screws and let them cut their own threads. I used 10mm strong magnets from Amazon to attach the visor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I3MXH2U/. You just need to glue them to the back of the mount, but they are embedded in the visor. Just figure out the last layer before the holes get covered in your slicer and pause it there to add the magnets. I also added some glue to the visor magnets so they didn't rattle around. The visor stays attached well while going down the road at highway speeds, but we have knocked it over a few times on accident while driving.
