Polaris Ranger Turn Light Mounting Plate
thingiverse
These mounting plates fit full-size Polaris Rangers from at least 2015 models, and they may still work for 2019 versions. I wanted to add turn signals to my Ranger but the kits I bought came with small LED lights for front turn signals. So, I decided to create these plates to hold larger lights. It's possible that a 2x6-inch turn light might fit, but I didn't want to spend $15 to find out if it would work. Instead, I ordered these from Amazon: Partsam 2Pcs 1-1/4" Inch Round Led Side Marker Lights Amber 6-2835-SMD. The holes in the plate slide over the Ranger's mounting studs and the mounting surface comes through the opening about 6mm. The hold-down columns are designed to fit over the mounting studs on the inside of the fender well and screw down until snug against the back of the mounting plate. It is very likely that you will need to cut these hold-downs to size! They should be a bit longer than the distance from the back of the plate to the top of the mounting stud so you can apply pressure. When I installed them on my machine, I was able to use the 15mm as-is for the lower and the 25mm for the single. The fit was so tight that I didn't need to do anything with the third post. I have also included plates without holes for the light in case you want to use a different light or just install them as decorative pieces. My first sample looked great against the black when it was done in yellow. The Sketchup files are included, so you can modify them as needed.
