Polaris Lock and Ride Rear Cargo Box Speaker Mounts
thingiverse
I wanted to add some speakers to my Polaris 25 gallon Lock and Ride storage box (2882882). The storage box doesn't have a flat edge to mount the speaker to so I had to create a spacer. I scanned the box with EM3D (a great 3D scanning app I highly recommend) and then used the mesh to cut a cylinder I created in Rhino. It fits perfectly up against the box. I then sealed it with silicone and used bolts from a local hardware store to mount it against the box. I used the following components: [Waterproof switch](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B6K6XC1) [Bluetooth amp](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076XSBCCL) [Low voltage disconnect](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07929Y5SZ) [Capacity monitor](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z3W7LJM) [Waterproof speakers](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EXOTD56) The low voltage disconnect is optional, but useful to make sure you don't drain the battery if you leave it on. You can also connect it to a switched power source instead of directly to the battery, but then you will have to link the Bluetooth every time you shut off the ATV. Here is an enclosure for the LVD: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4876452 Supports recommended for the bolt holes. No supports needed elsewhere.
