Polargraph Gondola
thingiverse
Following Sandy Noble's Polargraph guide at http://polargraph.co.uk, here is a first attempt at a printable gondola for the Polargraph that functions well but has some areas for improvement. The lower section arms could be thicker, and the captive nut slot needs adjustment. Additionally, the upper chain mounts should have more plastic outside the hole for support. Motor brackets and pulleys can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12403, and photos of the process are available at http://www.flickr.com/photos/jabella/sets/72157627888557352/. Assembly-free printing is required; it uses an M3 bolt for pen grip adjustment and another for weight mounting, with washers or quarters with drilled holes as options.
