This drawing robot is powered by two precision stepper motors, an Arduino Uno microcontroller and a G-Shield interface module. The modular design of the machine makes it easy to scale up production for creating enormous drawings simply by extending the length of the timing belt. To maintain accurate drawing lines, the timing belt must be properly tensioned: heavy-duty m16 hex nuts and bolts are attached to a weights holder assembly. All pulleys feature embedded bearings to minimize friction and ensure smooth movement.
