End Caps and Lock are crafted from TPU, fitting tightly to hold the scope in place within the polar mount while allowing it to rotate. End caps snap over the ends to prevent dust and dirt from entering your optics. If you're unable to print TPU, you can print the washer part and secure the scope with a rubber band, but you'll lose the protection offered by the end caps. The main body is printed from PLA. The opening for the polar scope is tight and will need to be lightly sanded to accommodate it smoothly. You should avoid a sloppy fit, as this may necessitate scaling the print to ensure a snug fit. Three nuts are inserted into the print, allowing you to use your wedge's mounting bolts to secure the polar mount. Avoid over-tightening, as these knobs are substantial and can cause damage if mishandled. Tighten all three bolts so that the polar mount is flush with the face of the wedge. Ensure that you follow the instructions provided with the polar scope to adjust it for optimal performance, preventing view shifts when rotating the polar scope.
