These parts make up an adapter for microscopes and cellphones that enables picture-taking and video recording. The primary modification involves switching from cartesian to cylindrical "coordinates" for aligning the camera with the optical path. This design aims to improve upon previous ones in several ways: 1) The smartphone can be easily detached. 2) Small adjustments are feasible along one axis (radial), while coarse adjustments are possible along the other (angular). To-Do: Identify a more effective method for securing the radial axis screw, as two nuts and glue have been used so far. Further testing will likely uncover additional issues.
