Poké Ball Planter (+MultiMaterial)
thingiverse
The bottom is carefully beveled to ensure a precise print without requiring any supports. This design also boasts no holes whatsoever, resulting in an unobstructed surface. The central (black) component demands accurate extruder calibration, as it features a snug fit with the surrounding parts, preventing them from separating before being filled with soil. If issues arise during assembly, consider scaling down this piece to facilitate a smoother build process. For added stability, secure the pieces together using glue or lift the plant solely by its base to avoid any mess. The multi-material variant eschews the inset black ring in favor of a flush finish with the red and white surfaces. The button should be printed separately and then secured into place using adhesive. Both designs boast a slight indentation in their centers, intended to accommodate the button for gluing purposes. Although it won't snap into position, this depression will aid in positioning the button for a seamless attachment. These bespoke models were created from scratch after closely observing the How-To video for the original model that served as inspiration.
