Its indigo coloration sets it apart from other Pokémon, while its brown eyes shine bright with intelligence. Two sharp teeth protrude from the upper jaw of Wartortle, giving it a distinctive look. The Pokémon's three clawed fingers and pointed toes allow for exceptional balance on land. On either side of its head, feather-like ears covered in pale blue fur add to Wartortle's appeal. A brown shell with a pale yellow underside encases the Pokémon's body, featuring a thick white rim that separates the upper and lower halves. As Wartortle ages, it may develop scars and algae growth on its shell.
