Pokemon Gym Badge Case
thingiverse
I dug out my old Badges from their dusty drawers and decided it was finally time to give them the home they deserved. The design is split into three parts: Lid, Badge plate, and bottom. The Lid and bottom were printed with Amolen Woodfill PLA, while the Badge plate was made with Geeetech Marble PLA. Everything should fit together smoothly, thanks to the layer lines acting as lips to hold each other in place. If it's loose for you, try holding the badge plate snug with a little folded paper wedge that can be easily hidden by the lid's lip. Unfortunately, my badge plate was a bit too tight, so I had to sand down its corners to make it accessible when I want to add or remove Badges. The Badge plate is printed without holes, but I added them by poking through with a hot needle after marking out a stencil of where I wanted the Badges positioned. This kept everything neat and balanced.
