Pokemon Go Raid Pass
thingiverse
Raid pass for Pokémon Go comes together as my first project in Fusion 360, utilizing online designs that were tweaked to fit perfectly. The result is a compact and sturdy model that's ready for print. Printing, painting, and gluing bring this design to life. A hidden pocket underneath the bottom cover makes it easy to add simple LED lights for an eye-catching glow effect. To diffuse the light, I applied hot glue, while the cover itself serves as a switch by breaking a connection made with aluminum foil when pulled away. Due to print size limitations of 120mm, the model was divided into smaller parts. Users can merge multiple parts in Cura to accommodate larger print beds, allowing for a complete body print and separate top and bottom covers. Edit: As this was my first design for 3D printing, I overlooked tolerances initially. To address this issue, I added Top Cover Fix and Bottom Cover Fix, which provide a total clearance of .4mm. This adjustment ensures the original covers aren't too tight when printed normally.
