Update 2: I've successfully merged the two halves into a single coin, which now needs to be rotated in your slicer to print vertically. This method should result in minimal support needed and will allow for multiple coins to be printed at once. Update: Upon further inspection, I discovered that the original uploaded file was set to an incorrect thickness, resulting in coins that came out slightly thin. I've since corrected this issue by setting the proper 2.5mm thickness for each half. I created a coin specifically for our local meet up. It features selected Pokémon from community day on September 22nd, 2018. The front of the coin showcases Chikorita, while the back displays its evolution. Once printed, simply glue the two halves together and add paint if desired.
