Hi, Becca here with a new 3D printable diorama. Process Block out the scene with basic shapes to get a solid idea of what I'm after. I use a super simple sketch that I draw to mark out spheres for what my sculpt will look like. Start shaping the shapes to better fit the characters. I use photo references of the Pokémon I model, mostly sticking with old art for them since I want to capture their original look over the modern 3D version. Now it's time to refine the shapes and mark where the details will go. The whole sculpting process is done in Zbrush, using a mix of the trimdynamic brush and the dynamesh standard brush. Add the finishing touches along with color using polypaint at this point, I need to stop myself from endlessly retouching them.
