Pokeball 2x2 extensions
thingiverse
The files included here enable users to create a 2x2 twisty puzzle shaped like a pokeball. This puzzle is based on the Mofang Jiaoshi MF2C 2x2, and modifications are necessary to accommodate additional pieces. The caps on the corners of the MF2C must be removed for these extensions to fit properly, and they should snap onto existing tabs. There are three sets of parts included: * Pokeball1-4 * Pokeballfillet1-4 * Morefillet1-4 (the version shown in the full image) Each set features pieces with increasingly more fillets added, designed to enhance usability and comfort while turning. However, these modifications may compromise the aesthetic appeal of the puzzle. To strike a balance between appearance and functionality, users can choose which set to use. When printing these parts, it's essential to print two copies of each piece in a set. Orienting the pieces for printing or generating supports can be challenging, especially when dealing with internal tabs. Although the tabs may appear messy upon removal, they will still function as intended, particularly if glued into place while snapped onto the MF2C corner pieces. These models have not been tested or printed yet, and the final puzzle is expected to measure approximately 3.45 inches (8.86 cm) in diameter.
