Poke Sphero. Winnetka Library's Tanagram Pokeball
thingiverse
We've created an innovative fusion of tanagrams and Pokémon that's simple, fun, and full of possibilities. Our puzzle design can be separated into individual pieces for customization, allowing users to choose the type of pokeball tanagram they want to create. We're offering different pokeball lids as part of this unique project. Our team at the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District came up with this idea in-house. The library has a thriving makerspace called The Studio that's open to everyone, and our staff worked together to submit an entry for this competition. This is a first for libraries on Thingiverse, and we're excited to see how others will respond. The Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District serves as a community hub for knowledge advancement and cultural enrichment for all ages. Our makerspace, The Studio, was made possible by the Staffileno Family's generous gift in memory of Constance E. Staffileno. This space embodies Mrs. Staffileno's love for art and education, inspiring generations to become innovators and art enthusiasts. Located in the lower level of our library, The Studio features cutting-edge technology like 3D printers and laser engravers, as well as traditional art mediums like paint and canvas.
