A child asked for a pointing finger stylus that would work on a tablet, inspired by one she found at Target. It wasn't conductive, and therefore didn't function with her iPad. I created this design using mtdna's concept, which I resized and edited to include a hole for conductive foam in the fingertip, as well as a "wrist" and larger 1/2" diameter hole for a stick. The assembled part is approximately 15 inches long. This model was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/q8rR4Y0aV3S Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Fine Infill: 40% Notes: To be conductive, the stylus was printed with Protopasta conductive PLA. I increased the outer wall thickness from 1 to 3 for added durability. Post-Printing: Add conductive foam to fingertip. Conductive foam is required for good touchscreen interaction. I use a small piece of unused Scotch-Brite sponge, which works well as long as it's never been wet.
