Introducing a simple design concept, the »pointer puller« is suitable for all pointer types featuring a bushing bore that goes through the bushing and pointer hub. Applications include watches, wall clocks, stand clocks, pressure gauges, and other analog measuring devices or indicators. This innovative piece was created during mechanical education in "Measurement and Control Technology" at "Farbwerke HOECHST AG" in 1968. It was frequently used for pressure gauge pointer removal and new calibration of measuring devices. The sheet metal plate is designed for easy interchangeability and adaptability to various pointer sizes, allowing for different dimensions. A replaceable cylindrical pin with a threaded end fits into the threaded bushing for adjustable pin diameters. To protect dials, two plastic pads are pressed into the threaded pins in the yoke, while two threaded pins secure the sheet metal plate in place.
