Following destructive testing, a photogrammetric scan of the Caterpillar Track was executed using AGISOFT Photoscan software. The resulting 3D mesh data was decimated and retopologized in ZBrush. MeshLab was employed to convert the OBJ file into STL format. Inventor 2013 then transformed the STL mesh into a solid model, which was subsequently exported as an SAT file. Importing this SAT file into Inventor 2010 allowed for further testing and editing of the solid within the software.
