This device features a base unit with mounting options for both horizontal and vertical placement. The 'Base' includes an RJ45 Ethernet port, three USB 3.0 ports, and a power input port on its rear side. A 10-inch touchscreen display is attached to the base via a rotating support arm, which can be adjusted for either horizontal or vertical use. The top of the display houses a camera, while a detachable mag stripe reader and an NFC/RFID card reader are also included. The touchscreen display can independently rotate around the support arm, and the arm itself can be positioned in two different ways to accommodate both horizontal and vertical orientations. The slide-lock mechanism secures the arm in place at either orientation, with slides located at the bottom of the device. Modular peripherals can be inserted into the front of the 'Base,' accommodating up to three different modules simultaneously. A modular speaker is also available, allowing for the insertion of a more optimized module that includes a speaker and other accessories such as a receipt printer or Braille keypad. As the touchscreen display handles all keypad-related requirements, a dedicated keypad module can be inserted if needed. The design ensures that the core 'Base' unit looks complete even when modules are removed. The overall design is sleek, cool, and elegant with smooth curves and excellent ergonomics. A sturdy build and minimal use of materials contribute to both an esthetic look and feel and reduced production costs. The design has been optimized for minimal footprint in both vertical and horizontal positions, measuring !!! in the former and !!! in the latter.
