Poinsettia in a flower pot
thingiverse
My husband asked me to create Christmas decorations. Instructions: 1. Make four red poinsettias and four green poinsettias. Green poinsettias will be used as leaves. You can make flowers singly or print them in batches of four using (poinsettia_tc_151208a_dup4.stl). Make four green "buttons" (poinsettia_button_151206_dup4.stl) 1. Flower pot, flower pot top and stems come from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:54999. Suggest: - Top: shamrock_130224k_top.stl - brown or black - Pot: shamrock_130225c_pot.stl - orange or red - Stems: suggest green - You can use 1 of 4 stems in the model shamrock_130224h_4_stems.stl Alternatively, you can use individual stems like: - Stem 1: shamrock_130224e_stem_1.stl - Stem 2: shamrock_130224f_stem_2.stl - Stem 3: shamrock_130224f_stem_3.stl Assembly: I glued the parts together using nail polish remover (acetone). Before gluing, do a dry run with exacto knife and make sure everything fits properly. To assemble each poinsettia: - Place one green flower on the stem - Place one red flower on the stem (rotate it 90 degrees until it clicks into place) - Place a button - Glue all parts of the flower together - Glue the pot top to the pot - Glue the stems to the pot and position them facing outward.
