Poe injector for network switch
thingiverse
This device is specifically designed for powering IP cameras (12V) over a Cat5 Ethernet LAN cable. It is intended for use in locations where the LAN cable has a maximum length of 20-30 meters. The device supports up to 4-5 cameras, but can be upgraded as needed. To power it, you will need a 12-volt, 3-4 amp power supply, a 5-port 100Mbps/Gbps switch, and a 12V to 9V (7V) step-down module with 1 amp capacity. The Gerber file and Fusion360 files are also required for assembly. The device uses the 12-volt power from the supply connected to the POE injector. The first four connectors provide power transfer to the cameras via two pairs of LAN cable wires (Blue + and Brown -). The remaining wires are used for data transfer. From the fifth connector, the 12V is stepped down to 7-9 volts to power the network switch. If the network switch is powered by a separate supply, you can use the fifth port to power a fifth camera.
