Pod for Quattrovolante Libero
thingiverse
I redesigned the plastic parts on my Libero after experiencing issues with the front piece breaking during hard crashes. To avoid carrying a bag of spare screws and printed pieces, I decided to create a TPU pod for this frame using simple nuts that stay locked in place. As you can see from the pictures, the result is quite impressive and even survived a crash that destroyed my camera lenses. ### Features + Monocoque TPU/TPE pod + Secured to the carbon via four screws and nuts at the edges. + Optimized front space for RunCam Micro Sparrow (2.1mm lenses). + Central space for a stack of two 20x20mm boards, buzzer, FrSky XM+ receiver, RunCam Micro AIO 5.8GHz backpack. + Air vents on the front sides for improved camera, AIO backpack and stack cooling. + Graduated camera orientation marks (15°, 30°, 45° and 60°). + Hole for VTX antenna clearance. + Central fin for VTX antenna protection. + Upper retainers for looped rubber band (used to hold the LiPo's balance lead tight). + Side holes for improved buzzer loudness. + Rear hole for XT30 connector & battery leads. + Weights ~8g, almost less than the stock carbon & plastic pieces and now unneeded hardware.
